Avowry members must always:
- Be an advocate for what is right.
- Be a patron to those who are not as fortunate.
- Exemplify leadership regardless of rank.
- Hold paramount the well being of their brethren.
Currently we are only adding players who are recommended to the guild leaders. Only those who we feel are in line with our honor code and core values will be added to Avowry.
New members may only join with one character. Once a player has been promoted to a full member they may add as many alts as they wish.
Forum / Guild Chat
- No excessive drama or ranting.
- No vulgar language or statements.
- No derogatory remarks of any type.
- No disrespectful remarks towards another guild member.
- Do not spam guild chat.
Sharing / Resources
- Sharing your resources is not demanded or expected, but a generous person is greater than a skilled player in our opinion.
- Asking other members for handouts will not be tolerated, no one likes to be guilted into giving.
- Items should never be sold to another member.
- Money transactions between members is a private matter and should not be discussed in guild chat.
Looting
- Looting while the party is in combat is considered rude and should be avoided - the reasons for this should be obvious.
- In all Avowry groups need always comes before greed on all items.
- If an item is a significant upgrade for one or more players then only those players should be rolling on that item.
- If no one in the group needs the item then all may roll on that item for greed if they wish.
- Never roll on an item until the roll type is decided - need or greed.
- Additional rules for blue or greater (BOP - bind on pickup) items:
- If you win a greed roll on a BOP you may not roll again until all party members have received a BOP for greed.
- If a BOP is a significant upgrade for you then you may roll on that item even if you have already received a BOP.
- Breaking rules on BOP loot is a serious offense and could get you kicked from the guild.
- All the above loot rules should be guidelines when grouping outside of the guild, but not required..
